Event Description

Fund-raising Strategies that will Help You Yield the Highest Return on Investment

Does your online donation platform need more functionality? Do you need a graphic designer to help with materials? Do you need to clean up your database? Do you need to allocate more money toward fundraising?

Fundraising should be strategic and deliberate, not adhoc. "Plan your work! Work your plan!" Planning focuses your organization by setting fundraising priorities and helps give staff and board members a roadmap to success. Your plan will serve as a roadmap for your year, providing focus and guidance for decision-making and prioritizing.

As you work your plan, you’ll be able to better track your progress toward your goal and better determine the strategies that yield the highest Return on Investment (ROI). Having a plan will reveal your needs in advance of execution.

Join this session, where non-profit fund-raising specialist Shiree Skinner will teach you how to set fund-raising goals based on a well-thought out plan. You will learn how to articulate the strategies you will use to reach your goals and to create budgets, action plans, and timetables that align with the strategies. You will walk away with templates and samples that will help you get started.
