Summary: To create high-impact progressive change, the Funding Exchange (FEX) will support organizations that work with organizations and individuals outside themselves to create more impact than they ever could have achieved alone. Instead of building large infrastructures, FEX will support the building of strong organizations that can ultimately focus on working within coalitions to create social change.

Applicants for this funding will have pre-identified collaboration partners; each of which sign on to the application, its activities and goals. Funding will be used to work through the issues related to a long-lasting collaboration, and will not be granted for short-term campaign-driven collaborations.

OUT Fund

The OUT Fund was established to support organizing projects working to fight injustice, end oppression and build community among lesbians, bisexuals, gay and transgender groups. The OUT Fund gives priority to organizations that:

Address the politics of race, class, gender and sexuality as integral to systems of oppression.
Develop long-lasting coalitions.
Are led by marginalized communities, such as people of color, poor/low-income people, youth
