Summary: The Harry Ransom Center at the U. of Texas-Austin is accepting applications for approximately 50 fellowships to support research projects in the humanities that require on-site use of the center's collection of art, literary manuscripts, photography and rare books. Most fellowships last one month and carry an award of $3,000 each, although some may last two to four months and provide $3,000 per month.
Applicants with projects lasting less than a month can apply for travel stipends of up to $1,700 each. Graduate students can apply for dissertation fellowships of $1,500 each. U.S. citizens, as well as residents of other countries, are eligible to apply.
