Autism Proposals Due Dec. 1

The program supports projects and services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families to fully access libraries. Applicants may propose to: initiate a new creative program or service; bring a successful already-existing program or service to their library; or enhance a program or service they already offer. All programs or services must benefit people with autism or their families, directly or indirectly.

Award to Recognize Library Innovation

The program honors outstanding library public relations, whether a summer reading program, a year-long centennial celebration, fundraising for a new college library, an awareness campaign, or an innovative partnership in the community.

Librarians to Receive Recognition

The awards program encourages library users to recognize the accomplishments of exceptional public, K-12 and public and private college and university librarians. Nominators must describe how a librarian is improving the lives of people in a community, school or campus.

Faculty Members to Advance Careers

The program supports early career development of new library faculty members who are likely to become leaders in library and information science. The grantees will conduct research on any topic in library and information science.
