The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Friday (June 29) overturned the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) approval of a Kentucky Medicaid waiver that would have led to an estimated 95,000 individuals losing health care coverage. Meanwhile, in direct response to the court ruling, Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin's administration is cutting dental and vision coverage for nearly a half-million Kentuckians after his Medicaid overhaul plan was rejected in court.
