Homer Memorial Injury Research Grant Competition Now Open

The American Psychological Foundation opens its 2017 Lizette Peterson Homer Memorial Injury Research Grant competition. The program supports research into psychological and behavioral aspects to prevent injuries in children and adolescents. Deadline: Oct. 1. Specifically, the grant supports research related to the prevention of injuries in children and adolescents through accidents, violence, abuse or suicide. One grant of up to $5,000 will be awarded. To be eligible, applicants must be students or faculty at an accredited university and demonstrate research competence and commitment to this area of research.
