Analysis of State Retirement Systems Shows Assets Rose $214B in 2010
The nation's state retirement systems totaled $2.2 trillion in cash and investment holdings in 2010, an increase of $213.9 billion (10.7%) from $2.0 trillion in 2009, according to new statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau. This follows a $610.8 billion loss the previous year.
